Summary: Decor was fun, bed was comfortable. Lively lobby and friendly staff. However, our “Premier King” was in another building which was accessed through a stairwell and 2 awkward doorways. The carpet in our room had seen better days but was the most off putting was the offensive sewer smell in the bathroom at all times of the day. The same odor could be smelled at various other locations throughout the hotel from time to time but seemed at its worst in our room. We had a strange set of approx 5 steps leading to the bathroom and horrendous overhead almost fluorescent lighting in the bathroom. Additionally, the door in our bathroom did not close all the way which could be an issue for some guests. “Breakfast” was delivered in a large brown shopping bag and consisted of the exact same 2 croissants and 2 blueberry muffins each of our 3 days. We had been told that there would also be juice delivered however there was not. The baked goods were fine but more variety and more imaginative packaging could go a long way in guest satisfaction. An in-room mini fridge would also be a helpful addition. Customer service consisted of texts from management. We were offered a room change but after unpacking that didn’t seem appealing nor did the optimism of another room being all that much better. We will not be returning and I would not recommend!
