Summary: What a fun place to stay! It was GLAMPING at it's finest. Comfy bed with nice linens, nice bathroom and shower area - - although it would be nice to have better/stronger/brighter lighting in all areas. (but, that might have been by design as this is an ecolodge.). We enjoyed comfortable seating on the deck of the unit overlooking the valley. The sound of rushing water was nice to fall asleep to. The gathering area / cafeteria was well stocked with WIFI, music, views, tables and chairs for lounging, snack bar with great food (we had avocado toast) and drink! The restaurant attached (not physically) to Tami Lodge is FABULOUS. Breakfast - included - was fit for a king! We also had a take out picnic breakfast for one of our days and an evening meal off an impressive menu. The best part was the staff. Kind, caring and attentive to every need. I learned that while this place is a lodge that anyone can book, it is also a space put in place to use with groups brought in to volunteer for 'earth watch' type programs - - volunteer projects for helping the community - as well as sharing techniques and education about protecting the precious cloud forest environment. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat! OH - in case you are worried about bugs and creepy crawly things - - the only 'creature' I found near my space was a spider.... and I have lots of them right here at home.
