Located in the family friendly ocean town of Point Pleasant Beach, NJ, this lovely and well-equipped home features 5 bedrooms and 2 newly remodeled baths (one with a walk-in shower and another with a full-size tub). Simply walk across the street to enjoy a pristine beach, movies and fireworks on the beach, a variety of scheduled entertainment options on the boardwalk, an amusement area/rides for all ages, and rocking chairs as you relax and watch the boats come and go at the inlet.
There are a variety of dining options, access to half day and full day fishing excursions within walking distance, delicious boardwalk fare, local antique stores, and live bands and entertainment in the area nightly, A newly renovated aquarium featuring penguins, seals and other sea creatures is located on the boardwalk, as well as arcades and shops of all sorts.
There are also many special events and festivals held throughout the season in Point Pleasant and neighboring shore towns. Point Pleasant Beach is a true Jersey Shore vacation paradise!
The beach house itself is very cozy and comfortable. You'll enjoy a modern kitchen fully equipped with toaster, blender, tableware, dishes, cookware, coffee pot, microwave, gas range, side-by-side refrigerator, dishwasher, plenty of granite counter space, and lots of cabinet space. The open floorplan allows for conversation and ease of entertainment.
The enclosed front porch is a dream! Relax on summer evenings and enjoy a casual meal, the cool ocean breezes and the energy of passers by as vacationers head to and from the boardwalk. Or pull up a chair and enjoy a game of checkers or cards. There's plenty of seating available on this airy porch.
The bedrooms provide comfortable sleeping for 10. Three bedrooms on the first floor include a king size bed, a queen bed, and a full size bed. On the second floor you'll find a lovely lounge area complete with a desk and rocking chair, as well as 2 bedrooms with 2 twin beds in each room. There is also a portable crib available for use if requested prior to checkin date.
As you enter the home through the rear of the house, you will be in the laundry room/mud room area. This is a great place to leave your flip flops and beach gear before entering the main living area, as well as drop your towels into the washer to be refreshed for the next day.
Enjoy a cool, refreshing shower after a day at the beach in the private outdoor shower or come inside to take a relazing shower or bath in one of our two newly remodeled bathrooms.
This home is equipped with central heat and air to insure your comfort. A 55 inch smart TV and plenty of viewing options, as well as wi-fi, are provided. There are three additional televisions in the bedrooms.
Although so much is available to you within walking distance, the property does have room to park three average size cars in the back of the house. There is a driveway leading to the parking area, but no parking is allowed in this driveway because we share it with the neighbors.
Guests will enjoy the use of four beach passes throughout their stay. Additional passes are available for purchase on the boardwalk for daily, weekly or seasonal use.
Linens: Pillows and blankets are provided for your use. Guests supply their own bed linens and towels. Most guests choose to arrange for fresh linen delivery to the home prior to their arrival, available for rent through Coastal Linen Supply. Their contact information is 732-830-8228.
Rates vary substantially depending upon the season. Off season rates are subject to negotiation and discounts are offered for long-term occupancy during the winter months and also for multiple weeks during the prime vacation months.
Winter Rental: This home is available for weekly rental through September 14. From September 15 through May 15, we will be renting on a seasonal basis only.
