Welcome to Casa Longboard by @puravidasurfyoga. We are located inside Lomas del Mar, a gated community in Playa Hermosa, Jaco, Costa Rica. This neighborhood is very calm and nature-oriented, its just a 2 min drive from the main break! and we have a mini market within walking distance. Wake up to the sound of monkeys and macaws in the surrounding jungle.

Jaco, the closest Costa Rican surf town to San Jose, is just a 10min drive away, offers some of the best bars and restaurants in the country, there's definitely a bit of everything in town.

Summary: The place is big, with a really nice outside space/terrasse, and it was very clean. No complaints here! Two things to really be aware is that we've got informed only when we arrived that there was no hot water. It is the dry season, so it might not be an issue for everyone but if you do want to shower with hot water, I'd recommend checking with the hosts if that has been fixed. Second, I would recommend having a car to have more flexibility. We managed with Uber as it's not that expensive & is a good way to meet people/get some tips but it's quite remote so a car would allow you for more flexibility to move around every day. We didn't get to know the hosts very well, but both Beth & Daniel were very nice for the little we spoke together. It just wasn't the typical Costa Rican experience I promised my parents.
