Just a short walk from the picturesque village of Eastsound and built by a top custom home builder, the Crescent Beach Cottage is magical. Reclaimed wood beams from Wisconsin, French doors from Singapore, teak floors, and a mix of contemporary and European antique furnishings are complemented by original art - creating a warm and welcoming environment.
Views from every window let in light and outdoor magic. Enjoy the quaint fenced garden, relax on the patio overlooking the pond and bird sanctuary behind the cottage, or watch the waves on the beach from the living room and dining room. Crescent Beach Cottage is an ideal destination for memorable island vacations and quiet retreats.
The living room is a comfortable place to sit and talk, read or watch TV. The galley kitchen adjoining the living room has all the appliances and amenities needed to cook up something good. The dining room is a great place to enjoy a meal or drink morning coffee as you gaze across to the beach with a beautiful view south across Ship Bay.
The Master Bathroom has a walk-in shower and soaking Tub. En-suite is a small dry sauna room, the perfect way to relax your muscles after a day of hiking or exploring.
The Master Bedroom features a queen bed, flanked by leather armchairs and ottomans. A small study off the master bedroom is the perfect place to curl up with a book or watch the wildlife in the pond. The study has a large sleeper chair that folds out into a single bed.
A separate Guest Cottage, “The Outback”, connects to the main cottage via a flagstone patio and features a bedroom with a queen bed, dresser, small TV, and a spacious bathroom. “The Outback” provides an ideal, private escape for a second couple, or additional members of your party.
In front of the cottage, across Crescent Beach road is Orcas’ most notable walking beach – the long and gorgeous Crescent Beach: Wade in the tides, beachcomb, rent kayaks, build driftwood sculptures and wiggle your toes in the sand.
Behind the cottage, is a serene bird-watching paradise, with views across a large pond and wetland with all manner of waterbirds, including Blue Herons, Red-Winged Blackbirds, Kingfishers, ducks, and occasionally eagles. The rear patio provides a magical place to grill on the propane BBQ or sit and watch the teeming bird life around the pond.
