Our townhome is located in Tower Shores in Bethany Beach, DE. We are in a quiet, friendly community on a large, sparkling private beach. The community is next to Delaware State Park with ocean fishing and a nature preserve. Also close by is Coin Beach where visitors hunt for coins from the wreck of the 1700 Century Ship "The Faithful Stewart". Dewey Beach is short drive away with its nightlife and music venues. There is also Rehoboth with its famous boardwalk, numerous shops, and restaurants to please all. Families with toddlers to teens love the boardwalk with its wholesome vibe. Also in Rehoboth on route 1 are three large Tanger Outlet malls for tax free shopping. Take an inexpensive cruise on the Lewes Ferry to Cape May NJ and search for Cape May "Diamonds" on the beach and view the Victorian Homes.
Our house's first level has a covered deck, an enclosed shower with hot and cold water, a grill and a dining table. Find beach chairs and toys there. Inside is the first bedroom with bunked single beds and a pull out couch that makes into a single bed. A half bath and a flat screen tv are also in this first floor bedroom.
On the second floor you will find the living room with a pull out queen couch, a table for 4 to play games on or dine and a smart tv. Also on this level is our well appointed kitchen that is stocked with essentials and has a table and 6 dining chairs. The lovely ocean views can be enjoyed from this level. There is a powder room on this level that has a full size washer dryer and a wide vanity. There is a replica of a Pie Safe full of games and puzzles.
The third floor has a ocean front bedroom with a smart tv, a king bed, a large dresser and a large closet. This is our favorite bedroom where you can see and hear the waves, and on a rainy night be lulled to sleep by the raindrops falling on the deck overhead. The back bedroom that faces the Delaware Bay has two twin beds, a large closet and a large dresser. The full bath on this level has a shower and tub and a wide vanity.
The fourth floor master suite has a king bed, a bath with tub and shower, a lovely large vanity and a marble floor. This large bedroom has a seating area near the smart tv and a door that opens to the large rooftop deck with comfortable furniture. From here you can sunbathe or watch the vivid stars at night over the ocean. In the morning you will often see passing dolphins as they frolic in the ocean in front of you. One lucky day a young whale passed by spouting a greeting on his trip up the coast.
In the Tower Shores community there is a playground and a first rate restaurant called Matt's Fish Camp. You won't be disappointed with our community or our house. Welcome and enjoy your stay!
