This lovely 4 bedroom 1.5 bathroom cottage is located just 2 blocks from the Holland State Park and just over a mile from Tunnel Park. Enjoy all the sights of Lake Michigan and downtown life of Holland, MI. This cottage features 3 upstairs bedrooms with the 4th bedroom downstairs (sleeps 12). The master bedroom and the second bedroom both have queen beds. The third bedroom has bunk beds with a double futon on the bottom. The fourth bedroom downstairs has a twin bed with a trundle twin bed beneath. The den downstairs has 2 double futons. There is also a hideaway cot available. The kitchen is fully stocked with all necessary items including a coffee maker, blender, cooking utensils, pans, and dishes.
Enjoy the 3 televisions provided with basic cable, wifi, and board games. Vacation is for relaxing outdoors, spending time with family, and, of course, BBQ! We have a gas grill and all the utensils needed. There is also plenty of outdoor furniture (chairs, tables) for everyone to sit around.
The cottage is within walking distance to the Ottawa Beach General Store and Dune Dogz & Treats (.6 miles). If you want a great view of the Holland State Park and the surrounding beach area a hike to the top of Mt. Pisgah is a must! Nearly 300 steps but the spectacular view is well worth it! Macatawa Boat House is also within walking distance and they rent stand up paddle boards, kayaks, and canoes (.4 miles).There are paved bike paths for running, rollerblading or biking to these attractions.
If you would prefer to drive to the Holland State Park or Tunnel Park there is a entry fee. Out of State: annual recreational pass $31 or daily admission is $9. Tunnel park annual recreational pass: $25 or daily admission $7. However, there is free parking outside each of these parks but it is limited .
Boaters & Watercraft Users
Macatawa Lake public access is located just over a mile down the road with plenty of parking for your vehicle and trailer. A recreational pass is needed in order to use the launch.
