Welcome to the Howdy House, your home away from home on Horseshoe Bay. You’ll not only have day docking privileges, you’ll also be able to use our two kayaks and paddle boat for getting out on the lake. Hop from canal side to poolside with ease, lounge on the lawn, or take up stargazing on the wraparound deck. With so much to do at the Howdy House, you’ll never want to leave.

Howdy House’s four bedrooms can sleep up to 12 guests.

When you enter the house, you’ll feel right at home. The front room is ideal for board games or cozying up with a good book. The living room, with a granite-topped sidebar, is made for movie nights and game days. The flatscreen is satellite/cable enabled and can handle streaming with your devices.

Kitchen & Dining Room
The furnished kitchen is equipped with all the essentials you need to make your meals here memorable. With miles of deep granite counter space, you don't have to bump elbows with other cooks in the kitchen.

The dining room is flooded with light during the day and leads out into the wraparound deck.

Wrap-Around Deck
Taking in the tranquil surroundings from the deck is the best way to spend the morning. When the sun hits the deck in the afternoon, you can unwind the storable awnings to create a shady retreat. The outdoor flatscreen means you don't have to miss a minute of the game while still getting a little sun.

Pool Patio & Lawn
The highlight of this vacation home is the private pool, set on a flagstone patio just a few steps down from the deck. Slip into the sparkling clean pool and get your splash on, right next to the canal.

The lush green lawn surrounding the pool is perfect for cartwheels and lawn games. We have cornhole and ladder ball but feel free to bring along your own to add to the fun.

We've also set up the gas grill and patio dining so that grilling up dinner doesn't leave you stranded on the deck.

**There is no pool gate between the back door of the lodge and the pool area. A fence encloses the outdoor space. Please do not let children outside without supervision. Keep children under close supervision at all times when outdoors.**

Canal Access
You'll have access to the private dock on the canal. That means you can to pick up passengers from the house on your boat. No need to pile everyone into the car and linger at the boat launch for their turn.

Boats & Water Toys Storage and launch
The closest launch is at LBJ Yacht Club & Marina at Wirtz Dam Boat Ramp in Cottonwood Shores, about 3 miles from the house. For a fee, your boat trailer can be stored at the LBJ Yacht Club. As per HOA, boat trailers are not allowed to be stored in the driveway.
