The main home's three bedrooms have two king beds and two twin beds with beautiful wooden headboards in irregular shapes, cut directly from the trunks of local hardwoods.
The other house is an apartment-style unit with a kitchenette and a king bed in its single bedroom, offering privacy for a couple in a larger group.
One of the bedrooms features a sliding-glass door and a big, elegant easy chair. It has an immaculate en suite bathroom with a rain shower. Another contains a beautiful, wooden L-shaped desk with office chair, and another has a leather-style couch.
Outside, the poolside table matches the style of the tree-trunk headboards. The property is surrounded by tropical gardens and trees.
The living room in the main home has an attractive wooden sofa and chairs with red cushions, a large TV and air conditioning. Adjacent to that is the dining room, with a long wooden table that also mimics the wood design elsewhere.
The kitchen is first-rate, with stainless-steel appliances, quartz counters and island with bar stools, plus a tile backsplash.

Casa Jardin is located in Catalina Cove, a gated housing development a short drive (or long-ish walk) from Brasilito Beach. There's a great supermarket right at the turnoff, and Brasilito is brimming with nice restaurants and bars, including the Patagonia del Mar (Argentine-style steak and seafood) and the outstanding new Masala (gourmet Indian food).
Brasilito is a delightful little beachfront town that is both an authentically Costa Rican village and a legitimate tourist destination. It's the jumping-off place to Playa Conchal, possibly the most beautiful beach in Costa Rica. And of course every kind of adventure is available here or near here, including fishing, surfing, scuba diving, sunset cruises, ziplining, ATVs, wildlife rescue centers and waterfalls.

Taxis are available but can be a bit hard to find. Many locals use buses to get around, though there are a limited number of routes and times of day when you can catch them. Private shuttles can be a great option for traveling to nearby destinations, and many tour companies offer transportation to and from the tour.
