Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location was easy to access from the motorway and a quick drive to the historic area. Lots of restaurants in the area and walkable to the bridge close by. Mini fridge and coffee maker in the room were a nice amenity. Beds were comfortable. Nice pantry options in the lobby and complimentary hot water for hot chocolate in the lobby also. Nice decor in the lobby and plenty of parking available in the lot.

Negative: The window was filthy, so much so that it blocked being able to see outside. The outlets mounted on lamps on the headboard were too loose for a standard plug. There was no hot water for the sink; however, hot water in the shower was fine. The volume on the television was disabled from being able to cut it up above a certain level, which was a very low level. Understandable that they are trying to control the noise level to not disturb guests but it was preset at a very low level that was extremely hard to hear from the bed. Breakfast in the hotel was average at best and very expensive.

Summary: Decent stay but would not stay here again
