Summary: This home is in a sparsely-populated gated community, surrounded by forest and all the interesting local creatures that inhabit it. We were met at the gate by Veronica, the property manager, who showed us the 4 km route to the house. She was attentive and responsive to all our needs and questions during our 3 week stay, including providing a smart TV for our nighttime viewing. The house is pretty much as described in the listing, with the exception that we were surprised at how far and isolated it was in this planned development. The house is quite large, and suitable for 3 couples or a family, with wonderful outdoor seating, front and back, that allowed us to sit outside in the morning and be entertained by the somewhat frequent visits of monkeys in the trees, and pizotes and iguanas. The refreshing pool offered relief from some of the hot days. For those wishing to rent a home in this area, be advised that this is in a neighbourhood that is very secure but only partially developed, so lots of privacy. On the other hand, it's about a 5 minute drive to the gate and then another 5-10 minute drive to the closest beaches, so be prepared to drive for food, beaches, restaurants, etc. All in all, a great stay, I'd certainly come back again.
